Scott Adams, Criminal Investigation Division commander for the Blytheville Police Department. Caruthers was arraigned in Osceola District Court Tuesday where a judge found probable cause and set bond at $300,000. The victim, according to Adams, told officers she was at a relative's home in the 1400-block of East Rose Street when Caruthers pulled her into the kitchen. A warrant was later issued for Caruthers, Adams stated. On the day of his arrest Caruthers was found by Blytheville officers walking in the 1100-block of Hearn Street.
